As Executive Producer, Sari Trisulo holds overall responsibility for MTV content development and management in Viacom International Media Networks.
Trisulo is the executive producer for MTV’s signature tentpole events including MTV World Stage from 2009 to 2015, held for seven-years running in Malaysia and broadcast to an international audience of more than three-quarters of a billion households in over 160 countries. She helmed MTV Asia’s first ever multi-camera 3D production for MTV World Stage in 2011.
Trisulo executive produces MTV Music Evolution, a live music event that brings to life the evolution of a music genre and enables young people to experience and discover how music styles and sounds have evolved over the years. MTV Music Evolution held its first edition in Manila in 2015 to a live audience of over 22,000 fans. Like MTV World Stage Malaysia, MTV Music Evolution is recorded live for global telecast under the MTV World Stage global series.
She is also the executive producer for MTV Asia’s flagship programme, The MTV Show, a weekly music and lifestyle show hosted by MTV VJs Alan Wong and Hanli Hoefer.
Trisulo started her career with MTV Southeast Asia in 1997 as a producer and rose to become the Editorial Head of MTV Korea till 2001 before re-joining Viacom International Media Networks in 2009. Through her extensive career in the media and broadcast industry, Trisulo held prominent creative roles that demonstrate her strong passion for developing creative strategy and content development. This includes her experience with PT Asia Global Media, Discovery Networks Asia, Bliss Media, SPH Mediaworks and Green Turtle Media & Presto Television.
Her stellar creative work has been endorsed internationally with numerous accolades and awards from New York Festival, PromaxBDA Asia, Television Asia.
The content creator candidate will also get to work with Marcus Viner, the show director for MTV World Stage Malaysia 2015. Viner is a multi-camera specialist with over 25 years’ experience in TV production.
