Andrew Lo is in charge of MTV and Comedy Central’s on-air branding, promotions and key creative campaigns across Asia. He drives the creative output of the two networks and oversees the creative teams and creative processes in the region.

Lo has been with Viacom International Media Networks for over a decade. He began his career directing music videos and TVCs in Taipei and started freelancing for MTV Taiwan and Channel [V] as an on air creative producer.

In 2003, Lo joined MTV China in Beijing as Head of Creative and On Air Promotion, serving to brand MTV, the first foreign channel to enter China, considered one of the toughest creative markets globally. Two years later, he took on the role of Art Director at MTV International in London, where he held creative responsibility for MTV Networks International in Europe. In 2007, he was appointed to be Creative Director at MTV Networks Asia, based in Singapore. He was promoted to his current position in 2010 and in 2012, he took on expanded responsibilities heading up the creative development and management of creative direction for Comedy Central Asia’s launch in Asia and to date, he continues to manage the creative strategy for both the MTV and Comedy Central brands in Asia.
Lo and his teams have won over 100 regional, pan-regional, and international awards in TV creative and design areas such as Art Director’s Club Awards, CASBAA, Apollo Awards, Promax/BDA Asia, Europe and Promax/BDA World Gold. He was featured in ContentAsia’s “Creative Top 20” special which looked at the people making, shaping and driving channel creative and promotions. He is the Awards Chair for Promax/BDA Asia Awards 2015.

Lo holds a MFA degree in Film Direction from Art Center College of Design in Los Angeles, California.
